LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - One woman was arrested for drug trafficking on Oct. 18.

Officers were called to London Shopping Center after a woman was reportedly slumped over in vehicle.

Once they arrived on the scene, they found Melinda R. Roaden, 53, of East Bernstadt, Ky.

The vehicle was in a parking spot and not running.

Roaden was showing signs of being under the influence of a controlled influence.

Police found a glass meth pipe, numerous small zip loc baggies, a set of digital scales, eight hypodermic needles, and a piece of tied plastic containing a crystal-like substance.

Roaden was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Drug Paraphernalia - Buy/Possess, and Public Intoxication Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol).
