LEWISTON, Maine — The Colisée in Lewiston is hosting a week of events celebrating the city’s resilience and unity, marking two years since the 2023 mass shooting that deeply affected the community.
Dubbed “Lewiston Strong,” the series runs Thursday through Sunday and includes hockey games, live music, and family-friendly activities — all meant to honor how far the city has come while continuing to support healing and connection.
On Thursday, Oct. 23, the Lewiston MAINEiacs face the Connecticut Chiefs at 7 p.m. during Lewiston Strong Night . Fans wearing Lewiston gear or blue clothing will receive free admission.
Friday, Oct. 24, brings a cornhole tournament organized by TB Events, filling the arena with friendly competition.
