Man accused of threatening Portage cop after entering woman's apartment through balcony

PORTAGE — A 35-year-old Chicago man accused of breaking into the apartment of a woman he knows earlier this week repeatedly threatened the life of a police officer while being taken to jail, according to the arrest report.
