Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella earned a total of $96.5 million in his compensation package in fiscal year 2025 since he joined the company in 2014, the highest his compensation has ever been. The board at the company attributed the leadership of Nadella to making Microsoft a leader in artificial intelligence, terming it as an exceptional year in the company. The compensation committee of the board issued a note to shareholders indicating that the results show how Microsoft has been successful in becoming the pioneer in the AI revolution and how it has incorporated generative AI in all its products and services.
