Patriotism versus nationalism? It's a personal choice, leader says

Outwardly, patriotism and nationalism may seem very similar, but there are distinct differences between the two, a leader with the George W. Bush Presidential Center told an Oklahoma City audience.

In these divided times, those distinctions may mean the difference between building unity or sliding down a "slippery slope" toward xenophobia, racism and misogyny, Margot Habiby, the Bush Presidential Center's deputy director of communications, said.
