Premier League clubs are facing a blow next summer when it comes to Michael Olise.

This is because, contrary to wide-held beliefs, the winger doesn't have a release clause in his Bayern Munich contract.

The German giant's director of sport Max Eberl has confirmed in an interview there is no release clause, meaning anyone wanting to pry him away from the Allianz will have to fork out a huge sum of money.

Eberl said: “The contract is valid until June 2029, no release clause is included and Olise is on his way to becoming one of the world's best players."

Bayern signed Olise from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024 for £50million .
