PARMA, Ohio -- Padua Franciscan High School celebrates Halloween with a production of “Dracula, The Vampire Play” appearing Oct. 30 through Nov. 2 at the State Road school.
“In 1992, our fall play was a different adaptation of ‘Dracula,’ so we’re returning to characters we’ve met before on this stage as a way that we could engage our alumni who now are hitting the point where their children are part of our program or at the school,” Padua Franciscan High School English teacher Elizabeth Malloy, who is directing the production.
“Also, Dracula is really popular again with ‘Demon Hunters’ and ‘Hotel Transylvania.’ There is this great call to the traditional story.”
