Jakobi Meyers wants a fresh start.

The Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver requested a trade in the offseason but nothing came to fruition. With the NFL trade deadline fast approaching, Meyers’ mindset remains the same.

“Oh, for sure,” he replied when asked if he still wanted to be traded . “I’m a professional at the end of the day. I’m just trying to play good football. If I’m here, like I said, I’ll play good football. If I’m not here, I’ll go out there and play wherever I’m supposed to be.”

Meyers is in the final year of his three-year contract and wants a new one. His trade request over the summer came after he and the Raiders couldn’t come to terms on an extension.
