The Stop & Shop in Attleboro, Massachusetts, was evacuated and temporarily closed Wednesday morning as firefighters dealt with an electrical fire in the supermarket.
The Attleboro Fire Department says it was called to a reported fire at the grocery store around 7:35 a.m. after staff had noted a light smoke condition in a rear storage area.

Firefighters, who arrived to find the building was already evacuated, quickly located charring and arcing electrical wiring inside a freezer unit, according to the fire department. The issue was isolated, and power was shut down to the affected equipment.
