PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) - Town officials in Plattsburgh are holding off on whether to allow a new ICE detention facility at the former Air Force base.

Hundreds of people on Tuesday night attended a meeting at the Plattsburgh Town Hall, many voicing concerns over the proposal.

The sheriff’s office says the proposed plan would house Homeland Security Investigations, or HSI, a division under ICE.
