Tuesday is quickly becoming one of Rowan Henderson’s favourite days of the week.
It’s not just the usual uptempo practice that excites the Sudbury Wolves left-winger, but also the weekly movie night that has become an important team-building activity.
“I don’t know what we’re watching tonight, but I hope it’s a good one,” Henderson said, just as on-ice workouts were wrapping up on Tuesday morning.
A recent favourite was Roofman, the crime comedy in which Channing Tatum plays a real-life spree robber who hides out in a toy store.
“We started making it mandatory so everyone gets out, because we weren’t really doing that at the start of the year,” Henderson said. “We weren’t really jelled as a team, but we’re starting to do that here a little bit more and it’s getting a lot better.
