Hyderabad: A man was injured when a gunman opened fire on him at Pocharam on the city outskirts on Wednesday.

The victim, identified as Prashanth Singh, reportedly had an argument with a man named Ibrahim, who later took out a short gun and fired at him. Prashanth sustained injuries and was shifted to a private hospital for treatment.

The Pocharam IT Corridor police have registered a case and launched efforts to trace Ibrahim, who is currently absconding.
