Norm Smith medallist Jason Johannisen has been delisted after a rollercoaster premiership-winning AFL career with the Western Bulldogs .

The 212-game veteran had a delayed start to this season with a hamstring injury before bouncing back to make 16 appearances but his time at the club has now come to an end.

Johannisen, who turns 33 next month, is open to playing on at another club but could also look into a development coaching role.

“I’ll always be in debt to the Western Bulldogs for allowing me to live out my dream,” Johannisen said in a club statement.

“It has been a privilege to pull on the red, white and blue each week, making lifelong mates and memories across my time at the club.
