NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A North Augusta woman who was reported missing for months and later arrested is now avoiding jail time for some charges.
According to court records, Susan Rhodes pleaded guilty in North Augusta to charges of reckless driving and open container of alcohol during a disposition on Oct. 2.
How North Augusta police chase turned deadly for motorcyclist
A motorcyclist is dead after a law enforcement pursuit that ended in a collision in North Augusta on Saturday night.
For the reckless driving charge, Rhodes was sentenced to a $440 fine or 30 days in jail. She was sentenced to a $257 fine or 30 days in jail for the open container charge.
According to law enforcement, Rhodes is not in jail and both charges are to be suspended upon completion of counseling.
