BATSON, Texas — Officials at the West Hardin Water Supply Corporation expect to complete major well repairs by the third week of November, with officials hopeful the work will end a boil water notice affecting Batson residents , according to an update released Wednesday. Residents have been dealing with the latest water issues since September.

Replacement parts for the Batson well are scheduled to arrive on Oct. 30, with repairs, testing and sampling to follow. However, the corporation cautioned it cannot guarantee the boil water order will be lifted until all repairs are completed and the system passes required testing.
