Soo Greyhounds fans rejoice.

After two weeks of teetering in and out of the Nashville Predators’ lineup, Brady Martin has at last been reassigned to Sault Ste. Marie, where he will remain for the 2025-26 OHL season.

The decision, announced Wednesday morning, comes after the 18-year-old centre appeared in just three NHL games during a span of seven outings for Nashville, well below the 10-game mark at which the first year of his entry-level contract would kick in.

The No. 5 overall pick in the 2025 draft made his debut on Oct. 9 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, skating on the top line between Filip Forsberg and Ryan O’Reilly. He recorded his first and only NHL point two nights later, assisting on a Forsberg goal against the Utah Mammoth.
