Jeremy Fowler's New York Giants trade rumor is disappointing news for Jaxson Dart

The New York Giants are widely believed to be a team that could trade for a wide receiver ahead of next month's deadline.

After all, it makes sense that the Giants would add another player at the position with Malik Nabers being lost for the season . If New York wants to put Jaxson Dart in the best position to succeed, it needs more than Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton, both of whom are decent No. 2 receivers, at best.

However, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler is pouring some cold water on the idea that the Giants could make a move at wide receiver, especially a significant one.
