TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Florida State University and the University of Florida will receive a grant from the National Institutes of Health.
The grant, totaling $43 million, will help translate scientific discoveries into real-world health solutions.
According to a press release from UF , the award is made up of a seven-year grant and two training grants.
The funds will help expand the universities’ role as clinical and translational science hubs for the state.
The goal is to bolster their ability to conduct clinical research more efficiently and enhance workforce development.
