PLANO, Texas — A fatal hit-and-run crash involving an 18-wheeler Tuesday morning closed all the northbound lanes on a stretch of the Dallas North Tollway in Plano, officials said.
Troopers with the Department of Public Safety responded around 6:30 a.m. to a four-vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway, the department said in a press release.
All northbound lanes of the Tollway were closed for more than three hours Tuesday morning, officials said. The road reopened by 10:45 a.m., with traffic was backed up for several miles.
Investigators found that an 18-wheeler was traveling northbound when the driver made an unsafe lane change and hit a Honda Civic, the release states. The Civic then crashed into a concrete wall and rolled over before a truck and a car crashe
