A London woman caught driving dangerously in Lambton County has received a discharge and a $2,000 fine for refusing to give police a sample.

But a Sarnia judge initially was reluctant to give Barbara Leblanc a discharge as she was concerned about the facts surrounding the dangerous driving.

“They were serious. They were certainly dangerous,” Justice Krista Lynn Leszczynski said.

Lambton OPP issued a news release about the incident, which took place on Sept. 8, 2024 around 10:30 a.m. near Warwick Village. Multiple calls came in that Sunday morning about a blue 2015 Hyundai heading west on Egremont Road.
