HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - A traffic alert is in place for those traveling in Vanderburgh County.

Officials advise that Allens Lane will be closed between Saint Joe Avenue and Kratzville Road on October 23. Officials note this area will be closed from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for road repairs and will be closed to all traffic.

According to the Vanderburgh County Highway Department, drivers should expect equipment and workers in the area, and to expect delays.

Officials say drivers should avoid this area and plan on taking an alternate route.
