FENTON, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A blind pony and 30 dogs were rescued from “devastating conditions” in Fenton, according to St. Louis County Animal Control Officers.
According to the officials, the animals were found living in severely neglected and unsafe conditions during a welfare check. The property owner then agreed to give the animals to Animal Control, who is working through the logistics to transport them to a shelter safely.
The rescue brings the number of dogs at the St. Louis County Animal Shelter to over 200.
