Canada's Brad Jacobs improved to 3-0 at the Pan Continental Curling Championships with a 14-6 win over South Korea on Wednesday in Virginia, Minn.
Tied 5-5 through five ends, the Calgary-based foursome broke the game open with four points in the sixth and added five more in the eighth.
The victory came despite a strong first half from South Korea's Soo-Hyuk Kim, whose rink pushed the Canadians early before fading after the fifth-end break.
Jacobs, vice-skip Marc Kennedy, second Brett Gallant and lead Ben Hebert combined to shoot 93 per cent, led by Kennedy at 95.
Canada next faces New Zealand's Sean Becker (0-3) later Wednesday at the Iron Range Motors Event Center. Meanwhile, Rachel Homan's Ottawa rink (1-1) is set to meet Mexico's Team Adriana Camarena (0-2) in women's play.
