Narcoossee Road has reopened after a fatal, multi-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

An 18-year-old was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died. He was ejected from his vehicle upon impact, FHP said.

According to FHP, the teen headed southbound was driving in the outside lane and lost control while attempting to move to the inside lane. His vehicle made its way over the center median and into the lanes headed northbound, hitting two other vehicles.

The other victims involved were transported to nearby hospitals, where they're being treated for serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
