52 modern era NFL players advanced to the next stage of the voting process for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s class of 2026, four of whom are former Pittsburgh Steelers.

Wide receiver Hines Ward continues his journey to a hopeful induction. This marks the 10th time he has chased an induction, and he has been a semi-finalist nine times. Ward retired with 1,000 career receptions, placing him 16th all-time. His 85 touchdowns are 19th all-time.

2008 Defensive Player of the Year James Harrison has been a semi-finalist in each of the last three years, and will get his chance once again.

Center Maurkice Pouncey is a first-ballot nominee after nine Pro Bowl selections, two First-Team All-Pro nods, and being a member of the 2010s All-Decade Team.
