The owners of a popular Manchester-born restaurant brand have confirmed its closure. Vegan Shack will shutter for good in December after six years in business.

A family-owned brand it serves up a plant-based twist on classic junk food including burgers, loaded fries, fried “chicken” and milkshakes and was originally launched in 2019 from owner Dimeji’s bedroom in Salford Quays.

Last year it closed it's "vegan landmark" on Piccadilly Gardens but continued takeaways from its Collyhurst hub. At this time, the business was also looking to open a branch in Stockport as a second delivery site.
