In an effort to increase their retail footprint in time for the holiday shopping season, Toys "R" Us is opening over 30 new locations across the nation - consisting of both seasonal and permanent stores - including one here on Long Island. The iconic toy retailer will be opening eight permanent flagship stores and over 20 temporary seasonal shops this winter, with one of the permanent stores being at Tanger Outlets Deer Park located at 152 The Arches Circuit in Deer Park, NY. Toys "R" Us closed over 700 stores in 2018 after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy the previous year, but would go on to attempt to revive the brand in the ensuing years under new ownership.
