MCLEANSBORO, Ill. (WSIL) -- The Paducah Police Department's K9 Karo is set to receive a bullet and stab protective vest.
The vest comes from a charitable donation by the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. Paducah Police said the vest is sponsored by Thomas Infante of Cold Springs, Kentucky and will be embroidered with the message, “Born to Love-Trained to Serve-Loyal Always.”
Delivery of the vest is expected within 10 weeks.
