MOORHEAD — If you have followed, watched, or liked social media content from any Minnesota State Moorhead sports teams, you might not have known that content is almost entirely produced by MSUM students.

In 2012, short on helping hands and working with a Division II budget, MSUM communications guru Jon Wepking needed to think outside the box.

“I needed help and it was too late to hire a (graduate assistant), because everybody had been hired," Wepking explained. "What could we control? and we hired some students. We started with four last year we hit 100 for the first time. This year, we're at 103."
