DENVER (KKTV) - The FBI’s Denver division and Denver Police are looking to identify potential victims of an Aurora police sergeant who was arrested earlier this month on federal charges related to sexual exploitation of a child.
According to the FBI, Aaron “Jake” Bunch worked as a school resource officer (SRO) and SRO supervisor at multiple schools in Aurora. His federal charges include sexual exploitation of a child (sell/publish); sexual exploitation of a child (possession); and sexual exploitation of a child (video)—extraordinary risk.
The FBI said it believes Bunch may have sought out victims while he was serving in a position of trust from 2005 to October 2025.
