A Guntersville woman is facing multiple charges after police say she rammed her vehicle into another person's vehicle after an argument in a Publix parking lot.

According to the Guntersville Police Department, 56-year-old Laura Givens was charged with felony criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, and driving under the influence.

The incident happened back on Sept. 27, when officers were dispatched to a Publix in reference to a reported verbal altercation between two people.

As officers headed that way, dispatch advised that one of the subjects was actively ramming their vehicle into the other person’s vehicle.

Police say the suspect, later identified as Givens, fled the scene prior to officers' arrival.
