GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - A local attorney was arrested in September after officers responded to a call about an argument at Publix, according to the Guntersville Police Department.

On Sept. 27, officers responded to a call about an argument between two people at Publix. While they were on their way to the store, dispatch said that one of the people involved was actively "ramming their vehicle" into the other's vehicle.

The suspect left before GPD arrived; however, they later pulled over a vehicle matching the description they were given. The driver was identified as Laura Givens.

An investigation showed that the individuals involved were former business associates.
