CLEVELAND —

Dozens gathered at Cleveland High School’s football field nearly 48 hours after a shooting that shook the tight-knit community.

Four people were hurt during the shooting after the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said an argument at a bonfire led to gunfire.

None of the victims are dead according to investigators, but Steven Whitehead is still charged with murder in connection to the shooting. He’s being held without bond in the Jefferson County Jail.

According to the sheriff’s office, two women and two men were hurt in the shooting. It happened just after midnight Sunday in a wooded area in Pinson commonly known as “The Pit.” Family members told WVTM 13 one of the victims is Kimber Mills.
