LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Expect some cold temperatures to settle across Kentucky and southern Indiana later this week.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Louisville has issued multiple cold weather advisories for Thursday and Friday, so WHAS11 has declared a Weather Impact Alert Day.

A Frost Advisory remains in effect from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23.

Temperatures are expected to be as low as 32 degrees.

The advisory has been issued for the following counties: Jefferson, Bullitt, Oldham, Trimble, Carroll, Henry, Shelby, Spencer, Nelson, Washington, Marion, Taylor, Green, Adair, Larue, Hardin, Meade, and Breckinridge counties in Kentucky; and Harrison, Floyd, Clark, Jefferson, Scott, Washington, Crawford, Orange, Jackson and Jennings counties in southern Indiana.
