MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A California woman faces multiple charges after allegedly starting a garage fire at Wesley United Methodist Church in Concord.
Concord police said they received a report of the fire Monday.
Employees at the church stopped the suspect, 59-year-old Meiling Han, and put out the fire. Police said the garage siding sustained minor damage.
Han was later found Han in Manchester, according to authorities.

Police said she told officers she is a pastor traveling as a missionary and started the fire to create ashes for prayers. Han later told police the fire was to warm her hands.
She is charged with arson, reckless conduct, and simple assault. The incident remains under investigation.
