FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky First Lady Britainy Beshear and members of ZeroV held a ceremony Tuesday to raise awareness for Domestic Violence Awareness Month and remember those who have lost their lives to intimate partner homicide.

The ceremony took place inside the Capitol Education Center in Frankfort, where names were read in remembrance of those who have lost their lives to intimate partner homicide.

Twenty-one victims were remembered during the ceremony. Sixteen were killed with a gun.
