California Gov. Gavin Newsom made two judicial appointments in the Central Valley on Wednesday, filling seats in Fresno and Tulare counties.
Fresno County: Newsom appointed Steven Crass to be a judge in the Fresno County Superior Court. • Crass makes the jump after serving as a Commissioner at the court since 2023. • He previously was Of Counsel at Wanger Jones Helsley from 2020 to 2023 and worked as a Partner at Baker Manock & Jensen from 2012 to 2020 and was Of Counsel at Littler Mendelson from 2008 to 2012. Crass also worked as an Associate at Lang Richert & Patch from 2007 to 2008 and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of California from 2007 to 2008. • From 2001 to 2006, Crass was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. Before his time in the mi
