RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The Domestic Violence Resource Center will break ground on a survivor safe haven at a ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. at 1735 Vassar Street in Reno.
“This marks a major milestone in the organization’s ‘Inside These Doors’ campaign which launched earlier this year to fundraise for this project,” according to a resource center news release.
It will be a 40,000-square-foot trauma informed and purpose-built center for survivors of domestic violence, the release said.
Metcalf Builders and J Packer Studio are the resource center’s project partners.
