BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — Drivers on I-65 in Boone County will be dealing with overnight single-lane closures along with a traffic pattern shift starting, Monday, October 27th.

The change effects both north and southbound lanes between State Road 32 and State Road 47.

Southbound traffic will shift all three lanes to the outside shoulder, while northbound traffic will maintain its current pattern with a barrier wall on the inside shoulder. This is part of the ongoing 52 at 65 interchange project.

INDOT says the work is expected to last about three nights, and is weather-dependent and could change. Drivers are reminded to use extra caution and avoid distractions in work zones.
