SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - A wind shift will bring in more comfortable weather for our area on Thursday. This lower humidity will stick around through Saturday. Temperatures will stay close or slightly above average for this time of year through the weekend. With highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s. The winds will also pick up on Friday with some possible boating advisories needed Friday through Sunday.

Cold front next week

A cold front will move in on Monday bringing a chance for a few showers and then a cool down. We are expecting to see highs in the low 80s on Tuesday which will feel much nicer. This front will also keep tropical cyclone Melissa to our south and then move it off to the NE away from Florida through east Cuba or Haiti. That is what it looks like right now.
