Looking for a good scare later this month? Creepy characters of all kinds will descend on a Wallaceburg neighbourhood this Halloween.
Now in its fourth year, A Nightmare on Nelson Street, slated for Friday, Oct. 31, involves the creative collaboration of area residents, who pull out all the stops on their homes.
And they’ve tried to raise the bar this time around.
“Everyone in the neighbourhood has been working hard trying to make this year the best one yet,” Josh Thompson, one of the event founders, said in a release this week. “It’s a lot of work, but the kids love it. That we’re aware of, there isn’t anything else like this in Chatham-Kent.”
Neighbours have been busy since the end of August, building a large, twisted maze that spans three properties, Thompson said.
