TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Sabrina Aisenberg vanished from her family's Valrico home on November 24, 1997.

The infant wasn't even walking yet. Her parents said they were shocked when she was missing from her crib.

More than 27 years later, Tampa attorney Michael Trentalange wants to examine all of the case files.

However, he said the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has blocked his access for years.

"I made a public records request back in 2019 and was told it was an ongoing investigation," Trentalange said. "I made one in 2021, same story."

He sued to gain access to the records and won his case. The sheriff's office appealed the ruling and lost. Wednesday, he was back in court, asking a judge to find the sheriff's office in contempt for not following the court's ruling.
