PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Black & Gold Nation) -- Steelers rookie 6th round draft pick Will Howard has returned to practice for the first time since breaking the pinky in his throwing hand in a freak snap exchange during Training Camp that caused Howard to miss the entire preseason.

Howard will remain on the Reserve/Injured, Designated To Return List. The Steelers have 21 days to activate Howard to the active roster or he will miss the rest of the 2025 season.

Howard's return to practice follows the team releasing Logan Woodside from the practice squad on Tuesday.

In other injury news Calvin Austin III (shoulder), Malik Harrison (knee), and Zach Frazier (calf) were all Full Participants in practice on Wednesday.
