Making their first appearance at the UIL Team Tennis State Tournament, Flour Bluff breezed to a 10-0 win against College Station A&M Consolidated in the state semifinals to secure a spot in the Class 5A state championship match.

The Hornets led 7-0 after doubles, which included three matches that went to tiebreaks, and needed just three wins in singles to clinch the win.

Kyle Barganski and Dylan Johnson win their matches in boys singles and Victoria Torres earned a win in girls singles to clinch the win.

The Hornets will face the winner of the Abilene Wylie and Frisco Centennial match in the state championship on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Hurd Tennis Center at Baylor University.
