Kentucky police department hosts ‘day full of smiles’ for boy with rare disease

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WSMV) - A Kentucky police department recently hosted a toddler with a rare disease for “a day full of smiles.”

Elliot Jackson toured police cars, tried on an official police hat and took some goodies home after visiting the Bowling Green Police Department. BGPD posted about the visit on Facebook.

“Elliot, a brave toddler who has undergone brain and spinal surgery for a rare disease, stopped by the Bowling Green Police Department for a day full of smiles. He got to sit in a police car, try on an official hat, and even take home some toys and a BGPD coloring book!” the post said.
