GREENVILLE, S.C. —

' Let There Be Mom ' helps preserve the legacies of moms and dads with life-threatening illnesses. The organization puts together special gifts, projects and letters for children to receive on important milestones throughout their lives.

'Dine Out for Mom' is the organization's largest fundraiser. On Thursday, Oct. 23, nearly 200 restaurants in and around the Upstate will donate 20% of the day's profits to 'Let There Be Mom.'

The fundraiser lasts all day and applies to dine-in and carry-out orders.
