BOSTON —
Oct. 24 has been officially named "Jaylen Brown Day" in the city of Boston, honoring the 29-year-old Celtics forward's work on and off the court.
Brown, who was named the MVP of the NBA Finals and Eastern Conference Finals in 2024, has been involved in the Boston community, including his businesses 7uice and 741.
"The 7uice Foundation focuses its work on bridging the gap in underserved
communities by offering programs for youth, ranging from financial literacy to
leadership and activism," the resolution read. "And whereas the social activist’s work in the community also includes multiple visits to Boston Public Schools and a commitment to launch a Black Wall Street program in Boston."
