RICHLAND, S.C. — Prisma Health is expanding its footprint in the Midlands with the opening of the Northeast Medical Park , a state-of-the-art outpatient facility designed to relieve hospital congestion, reduce wait times, and provide care closer to home for residents in one of South Carolina’s fastest-growing regions.

The facility, located in Northeast Richland County, officially opens to patients on November 3. It will offer orthopedic walk-in care, outpatient surgery, and a variety of specialty clinics—services Prisma Health officials say are essential to keep pace with population growth in the area.

Jennifer Montgomery, CEO of Prisma Health’s Midlands Market, said the decision to expand was driven by a sharp rise in patient demand across the region.
