Baton Rouge police are currently working the scene of a fatal shooting that occurred at the Villas at Stone Creek off Longridge Avenue.

A BRPD spokesperson confirmed that one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Police were called about the shooting some time in the early evening.

No other details were immediately available.
