DEL CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — Two years have come and gone since the murder of 38-year-old Darius Ellis. Del City Authorities told News 4 the case is still open as they search for new leads.

Ellis' fiancée, Amanda Brock, said, "It just...it haunts me. It sucks…everybody, you know, they tell you you should be over it by now, but nothing like that will ever make you feel better."

Brock said Ellis was on his way home from work on a late October night when she woke up to gunshots, finding his body in the front yard of their Del City home.

Del City Police released a photo of the suspect's car, a red SUV. However, at the time, there were no leads on his killer.

"I have laid in bed for two years playing in my head, trying to figure out who the heck would do this," Brock added.
